After I picked Laila up today, she said to me ‘Mum, sometimes my head tells me to do stuff, and my heart tells me not to.’
Gobsmacked at her wisdom and spiritual insight, I quietly felt proud of this evolved little soul, one who knows herself in a way that many of us don’t even as adults- that the heart and head can often be in conflict, and the importance of differentiating between rational and emotional motivators.
I asked her to ellaborate, hoping for more Laila wisdom for me to ponder. She said ‘Right now, my head is telling me to call you a stupid mum, but my heart is telling me not, because I *really* love you!’
Good feeling gone.

I was just driving. Thats it. I had picked her up froma friends house, maybe she was annoyed that I made her leave?
